In CROSStrax, you have the ability to add state tax rates, so when your invoicing your clients, the tax rate will automatically be added.


Create a New Tax Rate

To create a new Tax Rate, click the Settings tab on the left-side menu, then click Tax Rate in the Billing & Invoicing Section

You will be taken to the Tax Rate page. Once there, click on Add Tax Rate in the upper right corner of the page.


You will now have the opportunity to create a new Tax Rate by adding the following:

  • Title - The title assigned to identify the tax rate (i.e. New Jersey State Tax).
  • Rate - The tax rate in the form of a percentage (i.e. 7.5%).

Once you've completed these steps, click Submit to complete the entry.


Edit a Tax Rate

To edit a Tax Rate, click the Settings tab on the left-side menu, then Tax Rate. You will be taken to the Tax Rate page. Select the tax rate you would like to edit by clicking the edit icon to the right of the tax rate (see below). From there, edit the tax rate as you would when you created the service originally as the functionality remains identical.
