The bulk uploader allows a user to add multiple cases at one time, using a spreadsheet. Some of our users get hundreds of skip traces, locates, pre-employment screenings, background checks, and similar type cases. It would be counter productive and cost prohibitive to enter these cases one by one. This is where the bulk uploader comes in to save a massive amount of time.
To utilize this feature, you will first click on "cases" located in the let-hand navigation bar then click on "Bulk Import".
Once you are on the bulk import page, you will need to download the bulk import excel template located below the contact data field
After downloading the template, you can either input data into this template, or you can import data into the excel spreadsheet from other sources such as a CSV file.
If you are importing your data from a CSV file, you will need to go to the "Data" tab inside of the excel sheet, click "From text/CSV" in the Get & Transform Data section at the top of the spreadsheet, select the CSV file you would like to import, then click "open".
Once the data has been imported into the excel spreadsheet, you will need to save the spreadsheet to your computer.
After saving the spreadsheet, go back to the Bulk Import page within CROSStrax, select "choose file" under Excel File, select the saved excel template with your imported data, then click "open". This will attach the file so that the data can be extracted.
Finally select your client that the cases are associated with, then click "submit".
Note: You can only bulk import cases for one client at a time, so you will need to separate your cases by client.
