What if a lead becomes stale or is no longer hot?

Should I delete a lead?


In a lead scenario, most CRM's including ours, you would not want to delete a lead.  Even though a lead may be stale now, that could change.  That lead could turn into a client in the future.  With that said, you may want to "file it away" or "track it".

If a lead becomes bad - change the status to junk lead
If a lead becomes great - change the status to hot
This way you can classify and track your leads accordingly.  You can also pull a list of leads by status via the Advanced Search.
