CROSStrax has the ability to assist in speeding up the process of medical canvassing by making it easier to find facilities around your subject's area. To utilize this feature, you will first have to create the facility types that you typically canvass by following the steps below:


1) Go to "Settings" in the Left-Hand Navigation Bar, then click "Facility Type" under Case Customization.


2) Click "Add Facility Type" on the right side of the screen, enter the type of facility (ex. general hospital, urgent care, orthopedic clinic, etc.), then click "Add New".



Once you have added the types of facilities, you can then search for these types of facilities around the address of the subject of your case by following the below steps:


1) From the Case Details page of a case, click on the "Facilities" tab, then click "Search Map".


2) Select if you would like to search the area around the address entered for the primary subject on the case or a custom address, select the type of facility you would like to look for, select how many results you would like to populate per page under "Max Results, then click "Search".


3) The system will populate a list of facilities around the selected address. If you would like to keep a facility to add to your canvas, click the "Select" check box next to the facility. Once you have selected all of the facilities you would like to keep, click "Save" at the bottom left of the screen.


Note: If you need to add more facilities than what is listed, you can click the "Load More" button, and the system will expand the search and populate more options to select from.
